new measuring method for insulation monitoring of electrical installations designed for the special conditions in underground workings

In the fifties Walther Bender developed a new measuring method for insulation monitoring of electrical installations designed for the special conditions in underground workings subject to fire damp.

Calor Emag, a company in Ratingen, Germany, became an important business partner in the mining sector.

This marked the beginning of a prosperous company. The company was extended by a small production facility already employing eight people.

The first office building is being erected.
