The seventies

Bender introduces the first electronic A-ISOMETER® in 1971

When Bender introduced the first electronic A-ISOMETER® in 1971, the company already could look back on 25 successful years.

Already 1972, when Christian D. Bender took over the leadership of the company and a new production facility and office building were officially opened in Grünberg, a new chapter in the company history began. At that time Bender had a staff of 28 employees.

In order to deal with the concerns of the customers, Christian D. Bender established a close sales network in Germany with regional independent tradesmen. It turned out to be a trend-setting decision, because in this way close customer relationship was achieved enabling Bender to respond quickly to the customers' wishes.

Already in 1976, only four years after the official opening, the production building had to be expanded in order to adapt it to the continuously growing demands for Bender products and to introduce new manufacturing methods.
The whole product range was reworked and modernized.

Christian D. Bender felt hemmed in Europe. He wanted to place his products on the world market especially on the huge hard-fought market in the United States of America. Following promising exploratory discussions conducted by Mr. Hofheinz in 1978, the first so-called "LIM" (devices for monitoring the impedance of IT systems) were developed for the American market.
