Every smart charging station has a charge controller located at the heart to communicate with the vehicle. The charge controller ensures communication between the vehicle and the connected backend. It also monitors the internal hardware of the charging system (user interface) and the permanently connected charging cable.
The Finnish company eMabler, which specializes in integrating EV charging services with numerous forms of clients, has awarded the Bender charge controller CC612 with the "Certificate of Compatibility".
"We are very proud of this award and are pleased that our charge controller is the only controller to be certified by eMabler," says Frank Mehling, Business Development for Electric Vehicles at Bender’s headquarters in Germany.
The core functions of the charge controller are dynamic load management and calibration-compliant charging. The integrated and patented 6 mA DC fault current detection (according to IEC 62955) represents a key unique selling point in the market.
