Air conditioning of data centers is a basic prerequisite for availability and operational safety. The increasing integration and packing density for processors and telecommunication systems generates levels of heat that would have been inconceivable in such a small space even just a few years ago. A failure of the air conditioning is synonymous with fire risk, failure and loss of money.
